(Renew, Energize and Donate) Day
is a Keller Williams Realty service initiative dedicated to improving our local communities. Agents and Staff at Keller Williams Realty Cary are taking RED Day to another level... with RED WEEK 2010 to renew and energize the Triangle. Because of her constant commitment to the culture of our company, this day has been dedicated in honor of our Vice Chairman, Mo Anderson.

Tuesday, May 4-Tuesday, May 11: Book Drive for the Cary Lions Club

Keller Williams Realty Cary is a collection point for the annual Cary Lions Club Book Drive. The Cary Lions Club will pick up the books on May 11th. The book drive is on May 14-16 at Cary Towne Center. The money raised at the book drive will support various NC Lion's Foundation projects. You can visit http://www.nclf.org for more details

Monday, May 10-Thursday, May 13: Mac & Cheese Drive for the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle

Drop off Mac & Cheese (or any other non-perishable food item) at Keller Williams Realty Cary during RED Week. We will give all the food donations to the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle on May 13th. Tuesday, May 11: Adopt Local Familes with the Center for Volunteer Caregiving

KW Cary agents will visit two Cary families to help with yard work and needs around the house. The project is an effort with the Center for Volunteer Caregiving. KW Cary agents will work on massive yard and home update projects. Both families really need our support to help make their home feel like home. Wednesday, May 12: Dessert Social at Heartfields Living Center - 2PM-4PM

Heartfields shares our parking lot and Keller Williams Realty Cary agents and staff are excited for this event. We are providing singing and piano entertainment and dessert for the residents and their guests. We'll also spend time mingling with the residents for a fun afternoon. Thursday, May 13: Building Cary's Pocket Garden

Cary’s Pocket Garden in partnership from www.growandshare.org is excited to be working with Keller Williams Realty Cary on this amazing community project! The Garden is going to have an elderly garden, children’s garden & most importantly a Plant-A-Row dedicated section at the “Garden’s Edge” for the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle!

Cary’s Pocket Garden is going to be a FULL day event packed with things to do:
- Raised Planter Bed Construction – 30 Beds (approx. 1200sf!)
- Organic Mulch Tilling into natural soil
- Fence Construction – 50 feet of fencing
- Compost Bin Construction – 6 Bins
- Entrance Sign & Gate Construction
- Planting Hundreds of Vegetable Plants
- Installing Drip Irrigation Lines
- Low-Voltage Lighting
- Spreading Natural Wood Chips for path areas
- Dedication of the Garden

More details to follow including opportunities for vendors to donate time & expertise to get these projects completed.
